A Guide to Sutton #18 - Random Events at the Truck Stop

The following post may contain spoilers for certain story elements of Stuck in Sutton.

Stuck in Sutton is host to many random encounters. As the truck stop is a hub for many events (shops, prostitution, drug dealing), it's also one of the places where you can encounter.

•  Drive by Flash

A man will drive by and ask you to flash your tits. Doing so will boost your Sluttiness by 2 and your Stress and Noriety by 5. If you're following Annabell's Corruption route and she's tagging along with you, she'll either keep her chest covered (+1 to her Sluttiness) or flash (+3 to her Sluttiness) depending on how high her sluttiness has been raised.

• Lost Wallet

If you find a lost wallet, you can either return it, or steal from it. If you return it, you'll reduce stress by 20 and notoriety by 10-15, If you however steal from it, you'll gain $10-100 cash, possibly a condom, but will also increase your notoriety by 6-10 (2-5 with the thug life tattoo). If Annabell is with you, you will only be able to return the wallet.

• Stray Dog

You can encounter a stray dog. If you choose to pat it, there's a 1/6 chance he will bite you. Otherwise, he'll let you pat him. If you get bit, you'll lose 2-3 Beauty and gain 7-11 stress (5 with the Cartoon cat tattoo). Otherwise, you'll have a reduction of 3-5 Notoriety and 7 Stress. If Annabell is with you, you'll only receive the good outcome to this encounter.

• Bikers

This one is rather complicated and could probably do with its own guide. For the most part, the most likely outcomes are sex or selling/buying drugs. If Annabell is with you, there will be different outcomes, including the possibility of getting some money from the bikers. She'll only approach if she has over 50 Openness.

• Buying Beer for the 'Man' who left his ID at home

You can buy alcohol for a 'man' who's 'left his ID' behind. You'll make $10 by doing so, but will also increase your notoriety by 2 to 8 unless you have the 'Thug Life' Tattoo or Annabell is accompanying you. 

• Donation Box (coming v0.8)

You can donate 1, 5, or 10 dollars. You'll reduce stress and notoriety by 3x your donation.

• Money

You can find $500 in the toilets. This has a very low chance of happening and once it occurs, it cannot happen again.

• Smokes and Lottery Ticket

You can find a lottery ticket or a pack of cigarettes in the toilets. There is no penalty for taking either.
