Devlog #32 - Ending on a High Note
As Stuck in Sutton nears completion, players will have many ways to reach a good ending. In the current version, endings are pretty basic and I wish to expand upon this concept. This will mean that decisions before and after leaving Sutton will have an effect on various outcomes. Things such as who you've romanced and what you've done to earn money open up different endings.
I plan on having numerous endings. Granted, some of these will be similar variations of the same ending, but there should still be a lot to merit multiple playthroughs. Some of these endings will involve your interactions at the wedding, including some new characters. As I want to flesh out these characters and the various endings, this won't all be complete by v0.8. It may even end up being its own update.
Work on v0.8 has been going alright. The last week of January didn't go as well as I'd hoped, but I've still got the vast majority of the 1st Draft done and have begun some editing. I'm still treating March as my goal, but February isn't exactly out of the question if all things go well. Until then, I'm afraid I'll have to leave you stuck in Sutton.
