A Guide to Sutton 16 - Fixing the Shower Part 1

The following post may contain spoilers for certain story elements of Stuck in Sutton.

If you are still staying at your hotel during Day 4, you'll end up breaking your shower. This will start a quest where you'll need to fix the shower before the end of the day. Whilst you can call for help from other characters (something I'll delve into in my next guide), you can also have Greg call Jeff the plumber. If you've committed the break-in, you may have already encountered Jeff.

If you don't call Jeff before the day is over or find another solution, Greg will call him over instead. He will charge you a total of $500 ($100 for the room and $400 for the plumbing), but you can tell him you don't have the money. If you do so, he'll try to take nude photos of you, but you can then blackmail him, which leads to you not having to pay anything. 

If you haven't committed the break-in, Jeff the plumber will fix your shower but charge you $300. You can earn a discount by either blowing him (requires 50 Sluttiness) or having sex (requires 100 Sluttiness). If you don't have $300 initially, you'll have to pay that off at the end of the day. If you give Jeff a blowjob but don't have the money, he'll come back to the hotel at the end of the day where you can either have sex or give him the money you owe him. 

Depending on the outcomes of the break in, the following can occur:

• If you manage to make a clean getaway, the same as above will occur
• If you had sex with Jeff, you'll get different flavor text, but it is the same as above
• If you committed an obvious burglary and stole $500, you'll have a variety of outcomes
  • If your stress is under 50 and notoriety is under 75, you can convince him that you didn't do it and need help. He'll give you $50 discount. 
  • If you have over 50 Stress or 75 Notoriety, the man will realize it was you who committed the crime. You'll have to either give him back the $500 or its a game over.  You'll also have to pay the $300.
  • If you stole less than $500, the normal outcome will occur
• If you went with the daughter ruse, you can either pay $200, or say you don't have enough money, which will cause him to to suggest he'll get the money from his friend.
