Devlog #19 – Plans for v0.6 and some Transparency

So now that I've released v0.5 of Stuck in Sutton, I'm planning v0.6, but before I get into that, I want to talk a bit more about version numbers.

Some people might assume v0.5 is the half-way point to v1.0 AKA a finished game. Not only is v0.5 obviously 1/2 of 1.0, but end of day 3 would be about the halfway point gameplay wise. That being said, those who've been paying attention would note that every update since v0.2 has been either the start or end of the day. If we're doing the maths, I'd reach 'v1.0' by Day 6. To cut to the chase, I'm not quite halfway done yet. I'm about 7 versions away from Day 7, and I'm also considering having expanded, interactive epilogues rather than what I have right now.

As for v0.6 itself, it will center around Day 4 and an event that will occur that morning. I'll also be furthering relationships between the player and NPCs. I don't really have any other plans but I'll probably add some random events to add more variety to the game. Of course, that may be subject to change as right now I'm taking a week's break like I always do to refresh and brainstorm.

At this point, Stuck in Sutton is pretty settled mechanics-wise. I don't really plan on adding any new locations (maybe apart from some special events). That might mean there are fewer devlogs as most of the things I'll be working on will be story-related. I may instead post some more sneak peeks for Patreons, so if that interests you, consider contributing.

Finally, the Adult Romance Bundle is still going on. We smashed our first goal of $1000 and now have a second goal of $2500. Other devs will release exclusive renders for their games/characters so if that interests you, please consider checking out the bundle.

Anyway, that's all I have to say, so I'm afraid I'll have to leave you Stuck in Sutton.
