A Guide to Sutton 10 - Dan Day 1 and 2

The following post may contain spoilers for certain story elements of Stuck in Sutton.

Dan is one of the many romantic options in Stuck in Sutton. He's also the first NPC you meet as per this guide. There are two main paths with Dan, that is either a friends-with-benefits sort of relationship or a more romantic one. To trigger the latter, you must abstain from having sex with Dan during the first day.  If you choose to sleep with Dan during the first day (either when you initially arrive at the hotel, or at the end of the day), you'll be locked into the 'friends-with-benefits' route which simply means you'll have sex every time you meet up with Dan.

If you go the romantic route on Day 1 (give him a kiss at the hotel, then talk during the end of the day), Dan will invite you out on a date at McCall's Bar.  During this date, you'll need to score a set amount of points to achieve a successful date.

• During the drive, you can ask Dan about his work
  • If you ask if he gets scared, you'll score no points
  • If you ask about any funny stories, you'll score + 1 points
• At the bar, there will be three activities, the poster, the pool table, and the bar itself.
• At the poster you'll learn about the upcoming concert coming to the bar. 
  • If you say "Maybe we should go?", you'll gain 1 point
  • If you say "Shame I won't be here:, you won't gain any points
• At the pool table, you can choose to play flirty or play competitively, neither of your initial choices is of any consequence 
  • You'll gain +1 point if you play flirty and "continue to play dumb". 
  • You'll gain +1 point if you play competitively and say "I've had a lot of practice.
  • The other options will grant you no points 
• At the bar, you can get a drink of your choice. After that drink, another man will approach
  • If you tell him to leave, you'll gain a little bit of stress (3-5)
  • If you tell him to fuck off, you'll suffer no consequences
• If the date is successful, you can have sex with Dan. This won't take you off the romantic path. Otherwise, you can call it a night, which is also of no consequence. 

This is all for now, but I will also note that players might want to avoid illegal activities (such as drug dealing or prostitution) if they want to pursue a relationship with Dan.
