A Guide to Sutton 5 - Mary Day One

The following post may contain spoilers for certain story elements of Stuck in Sutton.

Mary McCall is one of the Major NPCs players can interact with and also offers one of the many work opportunities in Sutton. This is a guide to her content during Day 1. 

To begin, you'll have to head to McCall's Bar and approach the bar itself. There, Mary will ask you what you want, where you can ask for a job. There are no prerequisites for getting the job itself, but you'll need a minimum of 35 Beauty to work at the bar. You'll also have to avoid being kicked out of the bar for bad behavior.

Typically, working at the bar will net you $15 + Tips which will vary between shifts. Beauty impacts your tips slightly, but for the most part it is randomized. You'll also gain some Stress, so be ready to reduce said Stress via items or drinking at the bar. If you reach 90 Stress, you won't be able to work at the bar. Depending on how your shift goes, other interactions may occur, such as having a drink spilled on you (reduces Beauty), and being asked to flash your boobs for money at the risk of getting banned from the bar.

After working a shift, you'll usually have the option to talk to Mary. Doing this will raise her affection for you. The first time you talk to her, she'll talk about the bar. To raise your affection with her, you'll want to answer with "Have you ever thought about traveling?" and then "Meeting new people." 

If you work again, you can talk to Mary again after your shift. She'll tell you a random story about the bar. You can do this up to three times, but you only need to do it once for her to come to visit you at the end of the day.  Talking to her more will increase Mary's affection for you and is advisable if you wish to pursue a relationship with her.

When Mary visits, she'll bring a six-pack of beer. You can choose to drink one bottle right away. If you do have a drink, you can then proceed to masturbate. Choosing to masturbate will also unlock the possibility of another masturbation scene during Day 2. Both actions will also reduce Stress which is handy to prevent having a bad sleep and losing energy for Day 2.
